 Ruling the Little Girls, a twelve piece series of mixed media artworks will be shown at Gallery Route One in Point Reyes Station from May 29 to June 30, 2026. To create this artwork about the imposition of gender norms I asked women from a wide range of backgrounds to tell me the rules they were raised with. Then, with the expert help of Robin Fragner,  I embroidered the rules on vintage toddler's dresses.  I am very pleased to have the opportunity to show all of this feminist series of works at one time. 

 

Reception on May 30, 3pm to 5pm. The gallery is at 11101 CA hwy 1, Point Reyes Station, right up against Point Reyes National Park, a 90 minute drive from SF.
